Golf in Spain at a glance
Golf holidays in Spain give UK groups more choice than anywhere else in Europe: famous courses like Valderrama and La Manga, short flights to the mainland costas, and island golf in Majorca and the Canaries. Most groups head for the Costa del Sol, but the Costa Blanca, Murcia and the Costa Almería are hard to beat for value.
For winter sun, Tenerife and Gran Canaria are warm all year. Wherever you go, we put the whole trip together: hotel, tee times and transfers, with small deposits and each golfer paying their own share.

Spain's best golf courses for groups
Spain has hosted the Ryder Cup and the Solheim Cup, and its best courses are on every golfer's list. These are the ones our groups ask for most.
- Real Club Valderrama (Costa del Sol) – Host of the 1997 Ryder Cup and one of the most famous courses in Europe.
- Finca Cortesín (Costa del Sol) – Host of the 2023 Solheim Cup, with a 5-star hotel on site.
- La Manga Club (Murcia) – Three courses, North, South and West, at one of Europe's best-known golf resorts.
- El Saler (Costa Blanca) – Links-style golf among the dunes south of Valencia, often ranked among Spain's best.
- Montecastillo (Costa de la Luz) – A Jack Nicklaus design near Jerez and a former Volvo Masters venue.
- Golf Son Muntaner (Majorca) – One of the island's top courses, just outside Palma.
- Buenavista Golf (Tenerife) – A Seve Ballesteros design with holes right on the Atlantic.
Where to stay on a Spain golf holiday
Where you stay shapes the trip as much as where you play. These hotels work well for groups:
- Finca Cortesín Hotel – 5-star luxury on the Costa del Sol, next to a Solheim Cup course.
- La Cala Hotel – A golf resort near Mijas with three courses, popular with groups.
- Grand Hyatt La Manga Club – Stay on site at La Manga Club, with all three courses on the doorstep.
- Parador El Saler – Sleep right next to the El Saler course, south of Valencia.
- Precise Resort El Rompido – A 5-star half-board base on the Costa de la Luz, near the El Rompido courses.
- Castillo Hotel Son Vida – A 5-star castle hotel above Palma, close to several courses.
Planning a group golf trip to Spain
We've organised group golf trips for over 24 years. Here's how a Spain trip works with us:
- Small deposits secure your tee times and rooms early, which matters in peak months.
- Individual payments mean each golfer pays their own balance. No chasing your mates for money.
- One booking covers your hotel, tee times and transfers, so the organiser only deals with us.
- Flights are booked separately. We'll tell you which airport to use and sort everything once you land.
- Golf societies are welcome. See our GroupiaGolf Society page.

Palma's old town is great for an evening out in Majorca, and from the Costa Brava you can easily spend a day in Barcelona.
